It's amazing how much a change of location improves my mood. I see possibilities where previously there was only bleakness.

It's good to back.

Once More Into the Breach

Tomorrow, I head back to my undergrad after spending the last four months in my hometown. I can't say I'm displeased about going back. The last few months have simply been blue-collar work, screaming matches with certain members of my family, and the odd fistfight. Tedium in the extreme, yet all somehow helping me launch my career.

I guess I'm being dragged kicking and screaming into adulthood. Which is a necessity if I am to pursue the elusive goal of Becoming a Teacher as I so wish to do.

It's a goal that looks difficult at times.

And it begins.

My friends, relatives, colleagues, and acquaintances have won out: I have now started a blog. May God have mercy upon our souls.

Platitudes aside, I really have little to share at the moment. This may or may not be a constant. This might just become a repository for all my drunken ramblings and attempts at philosophy. Perhaps I'll start some sort of literary project. I don't know.
